Center Taken to Locker Room After Knee to Back
Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II left Monday night's 116-107 playoff victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves after taking a knee to the back of the neck. Lively was taken to the locker room and did not return to the game.
No Update from Coach Kidd
Coach Jason Kidd did not have an update on Lively's condition after the game. Tests on Lively's neck came back OK, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The extent of Lively's injury and his availability for Game 4 are still unknown.
